Welcome to the 47th Australian Labor Party National Conference
Labor’s National Conference is our highest decision-making forum and Australia’s largest political gathering. National Conference has always played an important role in defining the future direction of our Party and our nation.
The 2015 National Conference will be critical in setting out our key priorities for the country, and demonstrating that we are ready for government.
The 47th ALP National Conference will be held at the Melbourne Convention Centre from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July 2015.
Over 2,000 people attend National Conference, including Labor party delegates, party members and supporters, observers from our affiliated unions and the wider union membership, senior business leaders, members of the diplomatic and international community, not for profit organisations as well as representatives from the national media.
Conference is a great opportunity for delegates and observers to network and share ideas. The theme of the 2015 Fringe program - Explore the power of ideas – will showcase thought provoking speakers and powerful debates on the ideas and organising challenges facing Labor and Australia.
Along with an exciting new exhibition program National Conference is an event not to be missed.
Over the coming weeks we will be welcoming Observers to register for Conference and the Fringe.
